1. Who we are

ARCHON (archon.moe) operates a website for tracking Genshin Impact wish history, together with its related features, content and services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share information in connection with our Services.

ARCHON is a non-commercial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HoYoverse. For any question about this policy, contact us at contact@archon.moe.

2. Information we collect

• Information you provide. You sign in to our Services through a third-party service, Discord or Google. When you do, that service shares the profile information you authorize with us: your user ID with it, your name or username, email address and avatar. We never receive your Discord or Google password.
• Game information. Our Services let you import your wish history from the game. To do so, you provide a link from the game, which we use only to request your wish history from HoYoverse and do not store. We keep your wishes and the game UID they belong to. You may also import wish history from a file exported by another tracker.
• Automatically collected information. When you access our Services, we collect limited information about your visit, such as the pages you visit and the type of browser and device you use. We do this with privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies and don't store your IP address. We also collect crash and error diagnostics when something on the website breaks.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, operate and maintain our Services, including your account, wish history and statistics;
• compare your results with other players, using only de-identified, aggregated information;
• keep our Services secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
• troubleshoot errors and understand how our Services are used, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information, show ads or use your information for advertising. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

4. Legal bases for processing

Under the GDPR, we process your personal information:

• where it is necessary to provide the Services you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as keeping our Services secure and improving them, and those interests are not overridden by your rights (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies

We only use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, that are strictly necessary for our Services to work: to keep you signed in, protect the sign-in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for cookie consent.

6. Disclosure of your information

We only share your personal information with:

• service providers in the European Union, which host our Services and store our data and backups on our behalf;
• Discord and Google, to sign you in;
• HoYoverse, to request your wish history;
• authorities, if the law requires us to.

Other ARCHON users never see your wish history or your Discord or Google account.

7. International transfers

We store your information in the European Union. Discord and Google process sign-in information in the United States under their own privacy policies, and requests to HoYoverse go to its servers outside the European Union.

8. Security

We protect your personal information using commercially acceptable means, such as encrypted connections, restricted access to our servers and encrypted backups. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will act as the law requires.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need to, which is generally as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your wish history, linked game accounts and statistics. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed within one month.

Your choice: you can delete your account and all its data at any time in Settings.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
• request that your personal information be erased;
• ask us to restrict how we use your personal information;
• receive the personal information you provided to us in a machine-readable format;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.

You can download your wish history and delete your account yourself in Settings. To exercise any other right, contact us at contact@archon.moe. We will respond within one month and may ask you to verify that the account is yours.

11. Children's privacy

Our Services are not intended for or targeted towards children, and we do not permit anyone under the age of 16 to use them. If we learn that a child under 16 has given us personal information, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, contact us at contact@archon.moe.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the changes on this page and update the date at the top.
